Rustic cozy country restaurant with own farm. Fresh, traditional homemade food. Room rental. No credit cards accepted. No Wi-Fi.
Since it's under new management, really great. Friendly service, committed staff, that's where you'll finally be happy to go again. Otherwise at the moment what is allowed is offered there and somehow it looks nice and inviting.
Unfortunately closed due to Corona. But we were lucky on December 30th, 2020, delicious cappuccino, children's punch and homemade cake on hand. After a long walk and where everything has to be a little joy.
Great location. Unfortunately closed in January 2021 [pandemic]. A large parking lot in the immediate vicinity. 👍
A beautiful, sunny autumn afternoon. Despite all the restrictions, there was coffee and cake to take away. Great idea.
We stopped here spontaneously. There was half a duck that was unspeakably excellent. The meat literally fell off the bone, the red cabbage and the sauce with it was a pleasure. Service as always very nice! We'll definitely come back to smack the duck one more time 😄
A wonderful place to relax. Right on the water. The food was great and the service very friendly and attentive. We felt very comfortable. Gladly again.
Very nice excursion café. The location actually deserves 5 stars, as the staff is extremely nice and courteous. There is a deduction for the average cake, the not so clean toilets and the smoking staff IN the bar.
We were very disappointed! It was my grandma's birthday and the four of us had dinner. The service was super unfriendly and disrespectful in dealing with us and other guests. The staff showed themselves to be inattentive and taking the order as well as all other processes were very unmotivated and listless. All that would have been bearable if the food hadn't been bad. And by bad I don't just mean the taste, but unfortunately also the tolerance. We all struggled with gastrointestinal problems after ingesting the food. The cake that we had ordered for dessert consisted of a ready-made base and pieces of apple placed on it mixed with half "raw" dough. We let the cake go back, whereupon they just rolled their eyes towards us and explained that it had to be like that and would be perfectly fine. In summary, the restaurant probably impresses with its perfect location in the first row on the water. It is really beautifully located, but unfortunately the rest is absolutely wrong! A relatively high amount was due for the poor service and catering services described above. Unfortunately not to be recommended!
Service messy. The waiters run around and have lost track of the orders. No apology. Prices excessive for the poor quality of the food. Corona protection measures are not observed. Personnel without a mask. Addresses of the guests are not noted. One thinks that the really beautiful location is enough.
Very unfriendly service and we got tickets for lunch and where we wanted to place the order we were told that you can only order food in 40 minutes. In my opinion you should say it at the beginning and not after you have already chosen the dishes for 15 minutes and are then told that
A beautiful place. The drinks were okay. The menu was varied and we didn't eat. There was a little band playing it was really nice.
If you don't know this place yet, you should definitely go there. This inn has an excellent kitchen and always has a seasonal offer. From today there are also porcini mushrooms. You can sit very comfortably in the shade of old trees and let your gaze wander over the Havel. There is also a dog beach here. A walk is a must and at this time of year you can also find mushrooms yourself. I like being here and it's almost like being on vacation.
Real West Berlin flair. Unique location. Beautiful view from the terrace. Top quality food. Service very nice.
We considered this place as a wedding location, made a trip there near closing time and got "chased off" in a rather rude manner
Very nicely located inn, which was built a long time ago as a trip and hunting lodge. The service is friendly and quick, but could ask for new orders for drinks a little more often. The food tasted good and was reasonably priced. A bathing area is within walking distance. The sanitary facilities are in good condition. Gladly again.
The place is beautiful and worth it for the setting. Kuchen doesn't seem like something very special. There are many places where kuchen is better. Looks like bought or brought from somewhere else. The coffee isn't great either.
Unfriendly staff. Not a nice greeting. Wanted to have an ice cream there. There wasn't really a choice and the price wasn't at all reasonable. Not recommendable. But there is a nice swimming area with dogs.
Wonderfully located excursion bar with typical Berlin cuisine. Outside you can sit under huge oak trees. The service is attentive and brisk. The quality of the food is excellent; the prices reasonable.
Great location on the water! Very friendly service, very personable boss, reservation went perfectly, had a great table. Food very tasty. Everything fine, gladly again!
Good spot to look at. But the service is one of the worst I have ever experienced. Some people are looking for that kind of punishment. If you want bitter coffee, rude service and abusive stories to share. Go there. Maybe it's a marketing strategy - who knows. Just for the record - I'm German.
Good food, nice service and a beautiful setting. Recommended
Friendly service and good food, though a little pricey for Berlin. The view of the river is great and the atmosphere is just very relaxing.
Very beautiful. A wonderful amount of forest. Not so crowded today, and wonderfully quiet. The first wheat beer after "Corona break" DELICIOUS. 😁👍
It's really nice to stay outside in the sun when the weather is good. they have a band playing really nice, makes a very good atmosphere. We had to wait a bit before we found a table but I guess it's the new normal, staying in lines at restaurants. Food was good, service was nice. You have to pay 50cents for the bathroom which is a bit strange though.
Top
2020-05-09 still corona-closed. but outside they opened up for people who walked by with some beverages, cake, and Flammkuchen. nice! 😁👍
It’s one of my favorite place on the weekend
Christmas period lunch, great and tasty food in a nice environment. Although it was busy the service was on time and very polite and entertaining.
Ok. Bit pretentious.
Uninspired menu, moody waiters, overpriced for what it is. Lost in time. Caters to well off pensioners who they think may enjoy this. A shame as view and beer garden are pleasent to sit out. Won't be back.
It has a really good Garten. and you can enjoy your beer after a walk.
Over-priced, poor service, but gorgeous location and food is ok. Plus, not much choice in the local area if on foot!
It was a very tasty toast with salmon. Although we have waited too long for the waiter, but it worths it! 😎
Friendly staff, good food, and good location, but a bit too expensive.
Location is fantastic, next to the Havel with ships sailing by, very quiet. The food isn't so great, and the service works, but you only come here for the location.
Good food and good service
the service might need to become a bit more responsive to the client but the overall experience is fantastic!
The car we had parked on top of the small parking lot and then walked about 600 m through the beech forest. Personally welcomed by the boss of the house and led to the ordered table. The tavern was well filled, but there was no hassle, pleasant mood. The food came quickly, was very well presented and tasted great. After a good hour everything was done and then came the next guests. The only drawback was that there was only one dish for vegetarians, but this may be due to the season (first Christmas holiday).
Great place
Great service, tasty goose and good coffee. Very beautiful interior.
The service was wonderful- the waiter was really patient and attentive even though I couldn't speak German. The food though- I ordered a fish dish, and it was so salty I could only just barely finish half before I felt unbearably sick. The apple juice was freshly squeezed though, and I ordered a delicious dessert (apple strudel) to wash down the saltiness of the fish. I sincerely hope that was a fluke. I generally put about twice as much salt on food as others, and it was far saltier than even I could stomach.
One of the most unfriendly services I've ever had, which is a shame considering the beautiful location. I hate to think how they treat those who don't speak German. Despite ordering some of their overpriced food, we were patronised and told very abruptly to put some of our personal rubbish on the floor. Service is also pretty slow considering how many waiting staff they have. Would not recommend and would never go back!
Nice restaurant. Great location, overlooking the lake. Great service ( not in English though)
Lovely location in a little hidden spot, and the perfect place for a late summer meal by the lake. Food was also really nice.
Could be good to have English menu.
Fantastic location by the lake, reasonably nice staff. Reasonably good German food, but pretty expensive. Very negative point to me: how on earth can you close a restaurant in summer at 8 pm, when sunset is probably around 10 pm?
Bavaria on the Havel
Ok
Good traditional food. Service a bit slow.
Enjoy Bavarian food surrounded by nature ( forest and water). In summer is possible to bath and swim in front of the restaurant.
